My Melt Story

I've been making highly scented, long lasting wax melts for over 7 years now.  It started as a hobby just for myself and friends, and then took off from there.

I love creating home fragrance goodies, and pride myself on the quality of my wax melts, I love how a beautiful scent can really set the scene at home, from a cosy afternoon watching movies with Magic Butter Brew in the warmer, to laundry day and busting out some Twilight Garden.  My daily scent selection is the perfect way to set my mood for the day and I know others feel the same.

Green Witch Fragrance Co. allows me to combine my love of home fragrance, with my spiritual side, creating melts with intention to offer others beautiful and magical moments in every day life.

What's In My Melts

All my melts are CLP compliant and created using 100% soy wax and carefully selected fragrances. All CLPs can be viewed on the individual product listings along with the inspiration for the melts and a full scent description, any adornments are also listed here.

Every batch will have differences and each adorned melt is done by hand, so each one will be a little different.

Please be aware screen resolutions may vary, so colours and shimmers may vary from the images on the website, but the melts always smell the best!

Packaging

All my packaging is eco-friendly and biodegradable. when you've finished with your melts or when unpacking your order, all packing can go in your kirbside recycling bin.

It's really important for me to be plastic free where possible and environmentally aware when creating my products.

My limited edition adorned and colourful melts are packaged in paper glassine bags, and my simple witch melts are packaged in clamshells that are produced in the UK and use previously recycled materials, with between a minimum of 74% to 86% being recycled content.

Melt Times

10g sample - ave. 12hrs+ or 3x tealights

2x cubes from a snap bar - ave. 12hrs+ or 3x tealights

Entire snap bar - ave. 60hrs+

Times above are approximates, melt times can vary depending on the warmer you use, so if you like an electric warmer, the scent will often be a little more subtle, but the melts will last longer than with a tealight warmer.  Some tealight warmers may burn off the fragrance too fast if they are short and heat the wax too high.  Make sure to check out the wax melt safety tips to ensure you are using a safe warmer.

Finding Your Favourites

The melts are split into easy to shop categories, but if you like a certain scent, you can easily use the search bar to find ones you'll like, for example, if you like anything with sandalwood in, just pop that in the search bar and all the scents with sandalwood will come up.

• Make sure to only use appropriate warmers, either electric or tealight powered.
• If tealight powered, a taller design is best, some of the very short warmers may result in wax heating to a high temperature, and reducing the length of use.
• Make sure your warmer is on a heat resistant surface, they can get hot when in use!
• Ensure your warmer is placed somewhere well ventilated so the scent can travel easily.
• Make sure to use the correct tealight for your warmer, most only need a 4hr tealight, and the larger 8hr+ tealights can result in overheating your warmer causing damage and may even result in your warmer exploding!
• I’d recommend removing any crystal chips from your melt before adding to your warmer, alternatively, you can use tweezers to remove crystal chips from the melted wax, a little wash under warm water will get them shiny clean for you.
• DO NOT leave crystals in hot wax.
• Keep all melts and warmers out of reach of children and pets.
• Remove all packaging from your melts before use.
• Never leave a warmer unattended while in use.
• Do not touch the melted wax, it is hot, and may burn.
• When you want to remove the old wax, allow to cool, then apply gentle pressure to one side of the disc, it will gently 'pop' out of the bowl.

I aim to process all orders within 1 working day, if the order is placed before 12 midday I aim to ship same day.

All orders are sent via Royal Mail

Express - Tracked 24hr, Royal Mail aim to deliver all these parcels within 1-3 working days, £4.50

Standard - Tracked 48hr, Royal Mail aim to deliver all these parcels within 1-3 working days, £3.50

Orders over £45 qualify for free delivery.

Open Boxes

Perfect if you like to buy little and often but don't want to pay loads on shipping.

Place your order as usual, and when you go to checkout enter code 'Open Box'.

You won't need to pay any shipping and your order WILL NOT SHIP, I'll pop it to one side for you, every time you place an order it goes into you open box, and once you meet the free shipping value I'll ship your orders, OR you can ship them all together by popping me a message to close your box.

How long do they last?

This can depend on the type of warmer you use, an electric warmer doesn't get as hot as a tealight warmer, so I often get multiple days from a single cube.  With a tealight warmer you'll normally get 2 to 3 uses from one block.

How do I store my wax melts?

The main rule is to keep them away from a source of heat and direct sunlight, other than that, I'd recommend keeping them safely out of reach of children and pets.

I can't find a scent I want, what should I do?
